Featured Artist: Joy Doherty

Studio EL is proud to feature Joy Doherty's work on the cover of the new Issue 3 catalogue. Joy was raised in rural New Zealand where she was strongly influenced by the visuals of the pristine countryside. Her digital photographs never fail to highlight the stunning and intricate aspects of the natural world. Of her work, Doherty says:

There is something magical that happens…
when we pause…
and pay attention…
to what is around us…
to the mysterious ever-changing play of light on form…
that reveal nature's limitless imagination.

My photography records the magnificence of the ordinary world we live in. My digital darkroom enables me to express my unique creativity. My images grace private collections and healthcare facilities, plus hospitality, spa, corporate, and residential environments.

Issue 3 includes a variety of Doherty's works such as Banana Leaves I-IV and four triptychs whose elements can be shown together or individually. These LUXE Editions are offered on Clear Acrylic, Brushed Aluminum and Sustainable Bamboo.
